Nqabara Developments contracted Indwe Consulting to prepare and handle the submission of a Basic Assessment for the development of a community-owned lodge at Nqabara on the Eastern Cape coast in 2010/11. We found their services to be thorough and responsible at all levels, from community engagement and consultation, through to the environmental assessments and preparation of an environmental management plan, and finally the management of the authorization process. We were confident that Indwe neither cut corners nor obstructed progress, leaving us secure in the belief that the concept proposed would support and protect both the interests of this environmentally sensitive site as well as the needs of the local community for development.
